CRA Board of Trustees

The role of Crowley’s Ridge Academy’s board of trustees is essential in ensuring the institution stays true to its mission and values. These dedicated individuals are responsible for providing oversight, governance, and strategic direction to the school. They work closely with administrators to make key decisions regarding finances, policies, and educational programming. Additionally, they are tasked with hiring and evaluating the performance of school leadership, as well as fostering a supportive community that upholds Christian principles. With their guidance and expertise, the board helps create a safe and nurturing environment where students can grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally. Their commitment to serving both God and the educational needs of students sets the tone for excellence in all areas of the school's operations.

2024 Board Transitions

Board members, Amanda Frankenberger and Rich Sheppard completed their terms on June 30, 2024. We're thankful for their years of dedicated service to CRA. Two new Board members began six-year terms on July 1: Judy Lambert and Michael Eskew. Board officers for the 2024-2025 term will be: Todd Sanders, president; Blaine Nunn, vice president; Amber Webb, secretary; and Blake Phillips, treasurer.   • Mr. Michael Eskew (Class of 2004) *New in 2024

    Michael Eskew was born in Tennessee but moved to Paragould and started at Crowley’s Ridge Academy when he was in the second grade. He continued on as a falcon until his graduation in 2004, after which he attended Freed-Hardeman University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Michael worked in management for over ten years and is now part-owner and supervisor of four Sonic Drive-Ins in northeast Arkansas.

    Michael is married to Alison Eskew, also a 2004 CRA graduate. Michael and Alison have three children, all of whom are CRA students: Auden (5th), Ivy (2nd), and Noah (PALS).

    The Eskews are members of the Center Hill Church of Christ, where Michael serves as a deacon. His family is heavily involved in a wide range of activities at church, from Bible class leadership to new member involvement to Lads to Leaders. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being in the outdoors, fishing, and hunting.

  • Mrs. Judy Leath Lambert (Class of 1971) *New in 2024

    Judy Leath Lambert attended Crowley's Ridge Academy all 12 years, graduating in 1971. She attended Crowley's Ridge College and then graduated from Harding in 1975, returning to Crowley's Ridge Academy to teach Home Ec & Science from 1975-1980. She was honored to be given both the CRA and CRC Distinguished Alumnus awards. She is a member of 7th & Mueller Church of Christ where she is a Bible class teacher, member of the Senior Evergreens, and works each week with the Celebrate Recovery program.

    Judy has been married for 49 years to Don Lambert. They have 2 sons; Joey (CRA '99) obtained an MBA from Harding and works in Little Rock for FORVIS Mazars, ranked as one of the largest accounting firms in the US; and Clint (CRA '08) obtained an MS from Harding, and PhD from Nova SE University. He is a mental health and marriage & family therapist working with Renew Counseling & Wellness in Little Rock.

    Judy's comment about serving on the board; "I am honored to serve, and will do my best to uphold the high standards Crowley’s Ridge Academy strives to maintain".

  • Mr. Todd Sanders, President (Class of 2007)

    Sanders is an Occupational Therapist and a professor at Arkansas State University. He graduated from Harding University in 2010, and earned his masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014.

    His wife, Angel, teaches second grade at CRA, and they have two children at the school: Sadie (1st grade) and Hollis (PALS preschool). Sanders’ parents and siblings also graduated from CRA.

    The Sanders family attends Center Hill church of Christ in Paragould, where Todd serves as a deacon and the family is active in several ministries.

  • Mr. Blaine Nunn, Vice President

    Blaine Nunn has spent most of his life in Paragould, where he graduated from Paragould High School in 1984. Alongside his wife, Vicki, he has raised four children and is the proud grandfather of eight, several of whom have attended CRA throughout their education. Blaine is an active member of the 7th and Mueller Church of Christ.

    Blaine currently serves as President of Nunn’s Construction, a family-owned business that specializes in industrial maintenance, rigging, and construction. He has been with the business since he was a teenager and takes pride in helping Paragould’s industries.

    In addition to his professional commitments, Blaine serves on several boards, including the Greene County Boys & Girls Club, the Economic Development Corp. of Paragould, the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, the Greene County 4-H, and Unico Bank.

    Blaine cherishes spending time with his grandchildren and enjoys supporting them in their various activities.

  • Mrs. Amber Webb, Secretary (Class of 2006)

    Amber was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR, and transferred to CRA as a sophomore in 2003. Amber graduated from CRA in 2006, and then attended Harding University and UAMS in Little Rock to obtain her degree in Dental Hygiene.

    Amber is married to Dr. Garrett Webb, a 2005 CRA Graduate and Family Dentist here in Paragould. Amber and Garrett have three boys at CRA, Camden, Collin, and Beckett. Amber and Garrett attend Center Hill church of Christ, where they help lead the Children’s Bible Hour program.

    Amber and her family are very active in the community. Amber just completed her service time with the Greene County Junior Auxiliary, where she served on the board for two years.

    Amber and Garrett enjoy spending time outside with their boys and traveling to new places whenever possible.

  • Mr. Blake Phillips, Treasurer

    Blake is a life-long resident of Paragould. He is married to Kassie and they have two daughters, Khloe and Karsyn, both of whom are students at CRA. He and his family are members of Union Central Church of Christ.

    Blake is employed at Unico Bank in Paragould where is he is a lender and branch manager. Blake is also an adjunct instructor at Crowley’s Ridge College. He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from Arkansas State University and an MBA from Wiliam Woods University. Blake is also a graduate of the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.

  • Mrs. Jill Stewart (Class of 1990)

    Jill is a Harding alumna from the class of '94 and a 1996 Masters of Science graduate from the University of Central Arkansas.

    She is happily married to Jack Stewart, who graduated from CRA back in 1991, and they are proud parents of four children - Joshua, Jude, Justus, and Jenna. While Joshua and Jude have already graduated from CRA, Justus and Jenna are still enrolled at the school.

    The Stewarts are active members at the 7th & Mueller church of Christ.

    Jill is the proud owner and pediatric physical therapist at Stewart Pediatric Therapy.

    Her pastimes include keeping up with her kids' tennis, baseball, and gymnastics events, rooting for the Cardinals, reading, crafting, and cooking.

  • Dr. Jacob McMillon

    Jacob grew up in the small community of Finch, where he still attends a small congregation called Liberty church of Christ with his wife of ten years, Katelyn, and their two boys, Ezra and Slate. Ezra is in kindergarten at CRA and Slate is in PALS.

    Through high school at Greene County Tech and college at ASU, Jacob worked on his grandfather's farm east of Paragould. After undergraduate school, he attended UAMS College of Medicine in Little Rock, then completed his residency at UAMS North East in Jonesboro.

    Jacob is a family physician at the Family Practice Clinic in Paragould. He and his family enjoy outdoor activities including camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

  • Mrs. Tara Campbell (Class of 2002)

    Tara started attending PALS in Jonesboro when she was just three years old and then went on to attend CRA from kindergarten all the way through her senior year of high school. She graduated from CRA in 2002 and holds many fond memories of her time here, including her wonderful friends, teachers, and playing volleyball.

    After high school, Tara attended ASU before moving on to UAMS, where she ultimately earned her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.

    Tara has been happily married to Cameron for some time now, and they have three sweet children together: Sutton, who is 14, Emma Kate who is 11, and Eliza, who is 5. All three of them will be at CRA this year!

    In terms of work, Tara has been with Gairhan Dental Care for the past decade and absolutely loves her job. The Campbell family also owns a few businesses, including Artents (an event rental company), Play It Again Sports, and Super Sam's Fireworks.

    In Tara’s free time, she loves nothing more than watching and supporting her children as they participate in their favorite sports. She also enjoys traveling with her family and has a particular fondness for coffee and reading when she has some downtime. Finally, the Campbell family also attends the Valley View church of Christ.

  • Mrs. Ashley Watson (Class of 1999)

    Ashley is a Registered Nurse working as a Rehab Liaison and Community Outreach Coordinator for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Jonesboro, positions she has held for 18 years. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

    She and her husband, Jeremy Watson (‘95), married in 2001 and live in Jonesboro. They have two daughters at CRA: Bailee (12th grade) and Chloe (7th grade). The Watson family has been active at CRA in several roles, most recently Ashley has served as an elementary basketball coach and volunteer school nurse among other projects at the school.

    In Ashley’s free time, she loves supporting her daughters as they participate in activities, loves being outside, spending time with her husband, and traveling.

    The Watsons have been active members at Hillcrest church of Christ in Paragould for over 22 years.

  • Mr. Brent Trout (Class of 1985)

    Brent is a 1985 graduate of CRA and is married to Cindy (Class of 1988). They are the parents of Kayden (Class of 2021), a senior finance major at ASU, and Karlee, who is entering 6th grade at CRA.

    The Trouts and their families are long-time attendees and supporters of CRA. They attend Center Hill church of Christ.

    Brent is a sales manager for Lewis Bakeries/Bunny Bread, covering Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

    In his spare time, Brent enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hunter. He also enjoys attending sporting events with his family.
